The Subways est un groupe de rock britannique formé au début des années 2000 à Welwyn Garden City, dans la banlieue de Londres, en Angleterre. Le groupe explose aux yeux du grand public en 2005 à la sortie de son premier album dont le single "Oh Yeah" cartonne en Europe et aux USA. Le 2 novembre 2006, le groupe remporte le MTV U Woodie Award du meilleur groupe international. Doté d'une solide réputation de groupe de scène, le groupe a une forte tendance à électriser les foules avec ses shows musclés et son garage rock.
