The Elderberries est un groupe de rock français créé en 2002 à Clermont-Ferrand et composé de trois anglais, un canadien et un francais et il se fait rapidement connaître du grand public pour son énergie sur scène et son style proche de groupes des années 70 tels que AC/DC ou Led Zeppelin.

The Stranglers est un groupe de rock new wave britannique formé le 11 septembre 1974 à Guildford, qui sera associé au mouvement punk puis New Wave. Ils sont apparus surfant sur la première vague punk anglaise, mais ils n'ont jamais arrêté ni regardé en arrière : the Stranglers. Nom mythique, faisant courir un frisson sur l'échine des amateurs... Les Hommes en Noir sont depuis toujours menés par Jean-Jacques Burnel, sans doute l'un des meilleurs bassistes du monde. L'attitude du groupe sur scène est haineuse envers son public et la femme est considérée comme un objet sexuel au travers de titres tels que London lady ou Bring on the nubiles. Pourtant, les critiques rock hésitent à mettre les Stranglers au niveau de groupes punks de l'époque tels que les Sex Pistols ou les Clash car leurs mouvements semblent être calculés. En 1978, les Stranglers enregistrent Black and white et sont virés de leur label. Le groupe se concentre alors sur ces fans européens. Il signe entre autre Stanglers IV (1980), La folie (1981), Great lost (1983), Aural sculpture (1984) et Dreamtime (1987). Au cours des années 90, les Stranglers tentent de conquérir l'Amérique avec des reprises telles que All day and all of the night des Kinks mais échouent. Ils signent entre autre Stranglers in the night (1993), About time (1995) et Written in bed (1997). Suivent plusieurs albums dont Norfolk Coast, Suite XVI...
