Birdpen est un groupe de rock anglais et ils se sont formés en 2003. Il est composé de David Penney, guitariste et chanteur du collectif Archive, Mike Bird et James Livingstone Seagull. En 2005, Dave Pen rejoint les rangs du groupe Archive et participe à l'album Lights. Dès lors, il poursuit son activité au sein des Deux groupes. Après avoir autoproduit cinq EP depuis 2003, BirdPen a sorti son premier album "On/Off/Safety/Danger", en 2009.
