Alter Bridge est un groupe de rock américain formé en 2004 suite au split de Creed. On y retrouve 3 anciens membres de la formation originaire de Tallahassee.Le groupe tire son nom d'un pont existant réellement à Detroit, Michigan, près d'un endroit où Mark Tremonti (le guitariste d’origine) a habité dans son enfance.
