Red Fang est un groupe Heavy Rock/Stoner de Portland, Oregon. USA, crée en 2008, qui fait partie des ces bandes à l'ascension météoritique qui dès leurs débuts.

Mastodon est un groupe de sludge progressif apparu en 1999 à Atlanta aux États-Unis, dont les pochettes d'album sont souvent extrêmement travaillées. Le groupe est reconnu pour son mélange unique de rock / metal aux sonorités sludge, progressives et heavy, à haute teneur en passages psychédélique.
